July 2017 TBR Part 2

This is part two of my TBR list for this month because I have a lot of books that I am planning to read. A Conjuring of Light (Shades of Magic #3) by V.E Schwab  This is the last book of the Shades of Magic trilogy.  I have been putting off reading this book because I am  scared that something sad might happen to my favorite characters (and by reading V.E Schwab's tweets I know something bad is going to happen),  which would then ruin me because I love this  series so much and I do not want to end it in a sad note.  PLOT: Witness the fate of beloved heroes - and enemies. THE BALANCE OF POWER HAS FINALLY TIPPED... The precarious equilibrium among four Londons has reached its breaking point. Once brimming with the red vivacity of magic, darkness casts a shadow over the Maresh Empire, leaving a space for another London to rise. WHO WILL CRUMBLE? Kell - once assumed to be the last surviving Antari - begins to waver under the pressure of com

I only have a month left before I start law school and my goal is to read a lot of books in my 'To Be Read' (TBR) pile. It's quite a challenge because I have a lot of books to read but I am planning on reading 20+ books before August. So for this month I am challenging myself to read at least a minimum of 10 or more books, which I have done before but you never know when a reading slump will come. We shall see with my monthly wrap up if I will do good on this challenge. So moving on to the list of books I will read this month (Update: while editing this I have already read five books and I am currently reading my sixth one this month)...  A Gathering of Shadows (Shades of Magic #2) by V.E Schwab (Side note: This is actually a re-read before  I start reading the last book of the trilogy,  which A Conjuring of Light)  PLOT: It has been four months since a mysterious obsidian stone fell into Kell's possession. Four months since

A parabatai is your partner in battle. A parabatai is your best friend. Parabatai can be everything to each other—but they can never fall in love. Emma Carstairs is a warrior, a Shadowhunter, and the best in her generation. She lives for battle. Shoulder to shoulder with her parabatai, Julian Blackthorn, she patrols the streets of Los Angeles, where vampires party on the Sunset Strip, and faeries—the most powerful of supernatural creatures—teeter on the edge of open war with Shadowhunters. When the bodies of humans and faeries turn up murdered in the same way Emma’s parents were when she was a child, an uneasy alliance is formed. This is Emma’s chance for revenge—and Julian’s chance to get back his brother Mark, who is being held prisoner by the faerie Courts. All Emma, Mark, a
