Zoe's 24 Readathon Spring 2018 Wrap Up

Like what I said in my previous post, my goal was to read 5 books/graphic novel. I started reading, The Geek's Guide to Unrequited Love by Sarvenaz Tash at midnight. It was 252 pages and finished it at 3 am. I really liked the book and gave it 4/5 stars. It was a fun and quick read, and I definitely relate to the main character in a way that he has his fandoms that he is obsessed about, which is what I also do.   My second book/graphic novel was Cat Burglar Black by Richard Sala with 126 pages. I was disappointed with this one because I really like the plot but the execution was poor. There was no character development and the ending was rushed. I gave this 3/5 stars and I finished reading it at 5:18 am. Then I took a little break and slept for a couple hours and woke up at 10am. I played a but of Animal Crossing: New Leaf. After that started reading Batgirl: Badgirl of Burnside by Cameron Stewart, which has 176 pages. I finished reading it while getting a wax 2:

1. Beautiful Mistake by Vi Keeland Goodreads Rating: 4.21 stars A sexy new standalone from #1 New York Times bestselling author, Vi Keeland The first time I met Caine West was in a bar. He noticed me looking his way and mistakenly read my scowling as checking him out. When he attempted to talk to me, I set him straight—telling him what I thought of his lying, cheating, egomaniacal ass. You see, the gorgeous jerk had wined and dined my best friend--smooth talking her into his bed, all along failing to mention that he was married. He deserved every bit of my tongue-lashing and more for what he'd done. Especially when that lazy smile graced his perfect face in response to my rant. Only it turned out, the man I'd just told off wasn't the right guy. Oops. My mistake. Embarrassed, I slunk out without an apology. I was never going to see the handsome stranger again anyway, right? That’s what I thought…until I walked into class the next morning. Well, hello Pro

Despite being busy, I've decided to join Zoe of @ReadbyZoe on youtube's Readathon Round 5, which will be happening on March 3, 2018 (Saturday). The readathon will start at midnight to 11:59 of your time zone. This readathon is great because I have a pretty ambitious reading challenge this year with 120 books and I think that this readathon will help me read more.  Here is a video of Zoe announcing the Readathon.  For this readathon, I will be trying read a lot since I have acquired a lot of books in the month of February (see book haul here) and I want to get through them asap. I will also be trying to read graphic novels in between books for variety and so that I won't get bored that much.  1. Batgirl: Batgirl of Burnside by Cameron Stewart (Goodreads Author) (Writer), Brenden Fletcher , Jared K. Fletcher (Letterer), Maris Wicks (Colorist), Babs Tarr (Illustrator) Barbara Gordon is no stranger to dusting herself off when disaster strikes, so when a f
